Michael Jackson at Super Bowl 1993

One of the most acclaimed performances came from Michael Jackson during the show the first time in Super Bowl XXVII. As the performances began, Jackson was catapulted onto the stage as fireworks went behind him. When he landed on the canvas, he continued motionless "clenched fist, standing statue position", in gold and black military outfit and sunglasses, he remained completely still for several minutes as the crowd applauded. Then he slowly removed his sunglasses, and thrown awaybegan to sing and dance. His routine included four songs: "Jam", "Billie Jean", "Black or White" and "Heal the World". It 'was the first Super Bowl, where the audience has increased during the show the first time, and was seen by 135 million Americans alone; Jackson's Dangerous album rose to 90 of the charts.
